Etidronate Disodium

Etidronate Disodium is a kind of bisphosphonate bone resorption inhibitor. Such medication performs primarily on bone. It prevents the formation, development, & dissolution of hydroxyapatite crystals & their amorphous predecessors by chemisorption to the surfaces of calcium phosphate. It is well formulated with molecular formula C₂H₆Na₂O₇P₂. It sucks to hydroxyapatite cells and decreases the many osteoclasts, thereby preventing abnormal bone resorption. Also, the Etidronate Disodium may directly promote bone formation by osteoblasts.
