Praziquantel is an anti-worm drug which helps in killing worm and to treat schistosoma and liver fluke. This drug is primarily available in the form of tablets and can be consumed with water and food. It belongs to the class of anthelmintics medicines that are highly effective in killing and to retard the growth of internal parasites from the body without causing any damage to the host. Praziquantel is suitable for any age group but can only be taken according to the prescribed dosage. It may cause dizziness, stomach pain , nausea, fever and itching due to overdose and interaction with other medicines so it is recommended not to take it if you are already on other medications.
